Modernize our legacy inventory system

Project Description

Distribution company based in San Jose running an inventory system that is nearly fifteen years old and that nobody wants to touch. We want it modernized in careful stages: a clean API around the existing data, an AI search layer so staff can ask plain-English questions instead of running canned reports, and integration with our newer accounting software. Nothing can break during business hours. We would rather hire someone careful with legacy data than someone fast.
