I modernize the aging internal systems that small manufacturing and logistics firms around Chicago have outgrown but cannot afford to rip out. Usually that means wrapping an old database in a clean API, adding an AI search layer so staff can ask plain-English questions instead of running reports, and connecting it to whatever newer tools the company actually uses. I have done this for a freight company and a parts distributor, both stuck on software from over a decade ago. I migrate in stages so nothing breaks mid-shift, and I am mostly on-site for these since access and old hardware matter.
