I handle FAQ and after-sales chat for small DTC brands that ship nationally out of warehouses near the Westside, sizing, tracking, and returns being the bulk of what comes in. The bot deflects the routine stuff and escalates anything that smells like a real complaint, so a lean support team is not buried by nine in the morning. I build mostly on Intercom or a Shopify chat app layered with OpenAI rather than a custom stack, since most brands do not need one. Straightforward pricing and I will say when a feature is not worth the cost.
