Modernize our old inventory system

Project Description

Hardware supply shop in The Heights running a decade-old inventory system nobody wants to touch. We want it modernized in stages: a clean API around the existing data, an AI search layer so staff can ask questions in plain English instead of running reports, and integration with our newer point-of-sale system. Nothing can break during business hours. We would rather hire someone careful with legacy data than someone fast and reckless. On-site access available.
