I set up bilingual phone-answering bots for restaurants and clinics in Little Havana and Coral Gables that lose calls during the lunch and dinner rush. Built on Twilio and OpenAI, the bot answers in English or Español depending on how the caller opens, takes reservations, and texts a confirmation. I built one for a Calle Ocho restaurant that was missing a third of its dinner calls on weekends. I test with real accents and background noise before anything goes live, since a bot that mishears is worse than no bot.
